Difficulty: Easy
Brief
~~~~~
It has recently come to light that a long-lost superweapon has been located,
stored in a glass case in the middle of a long-abandoned munitions
warehouse. Your corporation received the information while tapping the comms
lines of the usual arch-rival megacorp, which means that you both know where
it is.
Wasting no time, a squad of marines kits up and heads with all speed to the
warehouse, on a fertile moon several systems away. Unfortunately, in a
staggeringly unlikely coincidence, the rival corp's squad arrives at
exactly the same time! Not only that, but reports indicate they have
identical firepower too... The race is on!
Notes
~~~~~
* The first person to reach the MAMB Launcher (intelligence suggests this
is probably the fabled Multi-Attack MultiBomb Launcher) has a rather
large advantage! It's not a certain game-winner though.
* Once you've got the MAMBL, head for the conspicuous-looking teleport in
the lower right corner of the map. First person to reach it with the gun
wins. There's no reason to use it, just getting there is good enough.
* There are two weapons caches, reachable only by teleport. However, forces
unknown have set a timed fuse burning. Once the set of explosives
detonates, the teleport for the return journey will be destroyed. You
don't want to be in there when this happens!
2-Player suitability
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would suggest that this is really a 2-player only mission. It's very easy
in 1-player mode, too easy really. Play it in 1-player by all means, just
don't expect it to take very long...
